This Privacy Policy describes how FSB&W, LLC (collectively with its affiliates, “FSB&W”, “us” or “our”) treats information that FSB&W collects or receives from or about you through this website (“Website”), and other websites, apps, and online locations (together with the Website, each a “Site”, collectively, the “Sites”), offline interactions

Each time you access, use or browse the Sites or interact with FSB&W, you signify your acceptance of the then-current Privacy Policy. If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, please do not provide information to FSB&W, access, use or browse the Sites, or interact with FSB&W.

Collected Information

FSB&W collects personally identifiable information such as non-public information about you that helps FSB&W identify and interact with you and to provide you with services, including, without limitation, your e-mail address, first and last name, home and work address and telephone number, employer’s name, information needed in connection with preparation of tax returns and performance of FSB&W’s accounting, advisory, consulting, financial reporting and other offline services (e.g., social security number, FEIN, income information, revenue information, etc.), and billing information.

FSB&W also may collect non-personally identifiable information (i.e., information that does not personally identify you as the individual to whom the information relates), such as information that is aggregated by FSB&W or a third party, or information that is not linked to contact information or other personally identifiable information about you. This information may include anonymous or aggregated geographic and demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

You may have the opportunity to follow links on the Sites to other sites that may be of interest to you. FSB&W encourages you to review the privacy policies of websites you choose to link to from FSB&W so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. FSB&W is not responsible for the privacy policies or other content on websites outside of the Sites. This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected and maintained by FSB&W.

FSB&W also may collect information using cookies, web beacons, pixels, gifs, tags, browser web storage, application data caches or similar technologies (collectively, “Collection Technology”) or through third parties using Collection Technology. FSB&W does not alter the practices detailed herein based upon your selection of the “Do Not Track” setting or other “opt out” setting or feature that may be offered by your browser; however, FSB&W reserves the right to do so in the future without notice to you.

How FSB&W Uses your Information

FSB&W uses the personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information it collects to operate the Sites; to deliver to you the online and offline services you have requested, including, without limitation, the preparation and filing of your tax returns and the performance of FSB&W’s accounting, advisory, consulting, and financial reporting services; to process and respond to your inquiries and requests; to inform you of other products or services available from FSB&W and its affiliates and alert you to new developments, special events, or other Activities and to administer same; to personalize and send you announcements, promotions, and newsletters; to deliver customized content and advertising to you based on your past actions indicating interest in a particular subject area, for the purposes for which you provided the information; to administer and process payments; to monitor and analyze information and statistics regarding your browsing and viewing preferences and to diagnose problems with the Sites; to carry out internal operations and to analyze our users’ demographics and interests; for administration and improvement of the Sites and to enhance the user experience and FSB&W’s services; to determine the popularity of FSB&W’s services; to develop, deliver, and improve our services, content, and advertising; to send important notices, such as communications about events and other transactions on the Sites and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies; for fraud prevention, internal operations, legal compliance, and other public and security related purposes; and to enforce the Terms of Use or the End User License Agreement for the Client Portal. FSB&W may also use non-personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

How FSB&W Shares Your Information

FSB&W does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. FSB&W may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about an offering that may be of interest to you. If FSB&W is filing a tax return on your behalf, FSB&W will share certain of your personally identifiable information with the applicable governmental authority.

In addition, FSB&W may share data and information that it collects with third parties including: (i) merchants and vendors engaged for the purpose of managing, administering or executing an Activity; (ii) to service providers who work on behalf of or with FSB&W, including, without limitation, agents, vendors, advertisers, consultants, affiliates and trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries, or perform other functions; (iii) to confirm or update information provided by you; (iv) in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or disposition of all or any portion of FSB&W’s business or operations (including, without limitation, in connection with bankruptcy or any similar proceedings); (v) to its business partners and co-sponsors of Activities or partners for our internal purposes; and (vi) as otherwise authorized by you.

FSB&W also may disclose your personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FSB&W or the Sites such as a subpoena, legal order or other official request; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of FSB&W; (c) to investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, fraud, potential or actual threats, potential or actual violation of the End User License Agreement for the Client Portal or the Terms of Use; (d) to protect the personal safety of you, FSB&W, users of FSB&W’s services or the Sites, or other members of the public, and to exercise legal rights or defend claims in connection with the foregoing; and (e) as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Additionally, FSB&W may take personally identifiable information and de-identify it and share it in a de-identified or aggregated form with third parties, advertisers and/or business partners to analyze the Sites’ usage or demographics, or improve our content or services, improve our user experience, or for similar purposes. FSB&W will not re-identify such data and will ask our contracting parties to agree to keep the data in its de-identified form.

The Sites may also contain plugins for social media websites, such as LinkedIn. FSB&W recommends reviewing the privacy policies with respect to the plugins for each of these websites, prior to clicking on such plugins.

Security of Your Information

FSB&W uses reasonable security measures to secure your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of FSB&W to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While FSB&W strives to protect personally identifiable information, neither FSB&W nor our service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us over the internet. FSB&W may process personally identifiable information on a server located outside the country where you live.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

FSB&W may occasionally update this Privacy Policy from time to time. FSB&W encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to be informed of how FSB&W is collecting, using, and protecting your information. Should the Privacy Policy be revised, FSB&W will post the changes on the Website and the new Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Sites following these changes means that you accept such revisions. If FSB&W makes any material changes to this Privacy Policy, FSB&W will post the changes on the Website and notify you in the manner and to the extent required by law.
