AUDIT STAFF

Job Duties include:

  • Provide outstanding client service and communication
  • Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, workpaper and financial statement preparation as well as client communication
  • Develop spreadsheet analysis (trial balance, reconciliation’s, etc.) special projects, and more
  • Conduct accounting compilations and reviews
  • Business tax return preparation as part of audit engagements

Requirements:

  • BS/MAS Degree
  • Actively studying and preparing for CPA certification, although CPA preferred
  • Public accounting firm experience a plus

TAX STAFF

 Job Duties Include:

  • Gain hands-on experience preparing individual, business and trust income tax returns.
  • Provide outstanding client service and communication
  • Corresponding with IRS and State taxing authorities
  • Workpaper & Source Documents Management
  • Research tax issues and present concise analysis of findings
  • Prepare clear, concise work papers and other communications

 Requirements:

  • BS/MAS Degree
  • Actively studying and preparing for CPA certification, although CPA preferred
  • Public accounting firm experience a plus

TAX SEASON INTERN

 Job Duties include:

  • Gain hands-on experience in tax accounting preparing individual income tax returns.
  • Participate in our intern orientation, technical training and development program designed to give you the tools needed to immediately contribute to client engagements.
  • Experience, through on-the-job training and real, meaningful work engagements, how your academic experience translates to the professional environment.
  • Learn directly from experienced Staff, Seniors, Managers and Partners with specialized experience and technical knowledge across numerous industries and services.
  • Demonstrate your performance and ability to join FSB&W as a Staff Accountant full-time.

Requirements:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student during the 2017/ 2018 school year in an accounting (or related) program.
  • Available to work 30-40 hours per week from February through April 15th.
  • Exhibit a basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
  • Outstanding academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills.
